Letter from Annette
What has God been talking to you about lately? Has He been speaking to you through the scriptures? Did you hear the still small voice of the Holy Spirit? Or did you turn the television on just in time to hear a message that seemed directed straight to you?
There is no doubt that God continually tries to speak to us in many different ways. He wants to lead us out of bondage, every kind of bondage, and bring us into the Promised Land of freedom, health, and continual sustenance. What a marvelous thought – peace, rest, health. Did you think that was only possible in heaven?

Mixing Faith with the Word
“But with whom was he grieved forty years? Was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? ...So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.” (Hebrews 3:17, 19) “For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.” (Hebrews 4:2)
Who did He call the evil generation? Those that brought back the evil report. The evil report was that they told what they saw, what they felt, and what they heard. That is not always an evil report, only when it disagrees with what God said.
There are many today that unknowingly give evil reports. They are speaking contrary to what God reveals in His Word. Sometimes they pray for victory and get up and confess defeat. Have you ever prayed that God would meet your need, and then a day or two later you were saying that you are so worried that you don’t know what you are going to do?

Letter from Annette
This months online teaching is one of the earliest writings of my father, Charles Capps, and has been unpublished until now. I came across this leaflet that was typewriter written on folded 8 ½ x 11 paper and copied. The teaching is a true treasure that will not only help those who seek the infilling of the Holy Spirit, but any Christian seeking an answer to prayer. The steps to receive anything from God are always the same and are clearly outlined in this pamphlet.

3 Steps to the Infilling of the Holy Spirit
This question has brought many answers down through the years, but I am convinced there is one answer that will answer this question and will never fail, if it is followed through with sincerity and faith. It is one hundred percent effective and cannot fail, because it is the Word of God. Jesus said, “HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY BUT MY WORD WILL NEVER PASS AWAY.” God’s Word is surer than the very earth we walk upon and this must be realized before we go any further. God’s Word is the final authority, the infallible truth, for God cannot lie. Believing this is the secret to receiving anything from God.
I have heard people say, “I have sought God in tears for twenty years and I have not been filled yet.” Some say, “I have pleaded with God and begged Him to fill me with the Spirit. I have sacrificed to give to the church. I have worked for God trying to be perfect, but I just can’t seem to make the grade.”

Look Behind the Scenes
I don’t recall living in such a time when there is so much division and fighting and disagreement. Nor do I ever remember such anger being expressed by the general population. We can look at this and point fingers at others, blaming political groups, individual people, or organizations as responsible for the chaos, or we can look behind the scenes at the root cause.
“For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12 MEV)

Agents of Two Kingdoms
The word “agent” is defined as “a person who acts on behalf of another person or group” and “a person or thing that takes an active role or produces a specified effect” (such as an agent of change).
There are agents representing two different kingdoms at work in this world.
Whether we realize it or not, there is constant conflict between the kingdom of God and satan’s kingdom, and we are caught in the middle. We may not see the actual spiritual forces battling and competing for the lives of people, but we can see the results. And it is becoming more and more apparent that the forces of evil are controlling more and more people who are yielding to darkness. Those of us in the light are standing out more and more also, as the darkness grows greater, our light, the light of Christ glows as a beacon.

Act in Faith
When the Spirit of the Lord leads you to do something, do you act upon it? Are you obedient to respond to the Holy Spirit?
God can and does present you with opportunities to experience the abundance of His blessings, but you must step through the door. It takes an act of faith on your part to enter into His provisions.

Faith for God's Opportunities and Provisions
God gave Israel the Promised Land. It was theirs as far as God was concerned, but they had to seize the God-given opportunity to possess it. God told them that He would send an angel to drive out the enemies before them. But an angel wouldn’t do it on his own, God’s people had to be obedient in order to get angelic help. (Exodus 23:20-23)
They knew what God said, but they didn’t take advantage of their opportunity to possess the land of promise.

Prayer Confessions for the New Year
Everything we construct must have a foundation. The things that we believe become the cornerstones of our futures, so we must choose our foundations wisely. Build your foundation for 2018 on God’s Word.
Seek Wisdom First
Proverbs 2:1-6
And treasure my commands within you,
So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding;
Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding,
If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures;
Then you will understand the fear of the
LORD, And find the knowledge of God.
For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

New Mini-Book Release!
There is so much to say on the subject of healing, and when I began writing this pamphlet on “Removing Roadblocks to Healing,” I found that it would need to be 2 parts instead of 1. What I didn’t realize is that we couldn’t get all 10 points in part 1 & 2! So, the Lord impressed me to put the entire teaching into a 48 page minibook to cover all the points, plus a special prayer/confession I received under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Removing the Roadblocks to Healing - Part 2
4. Holding on to Negative Emotions
Please notice I said HOLDING ON to negative emotions. Negative emotions happen as a reaction to situations and you cannot necessarily stop your feelings nor should you. But just like the energy of sickness, you must let them pass. You can choose to experience the feeling and let go of it. If you continue to talk about it, think about it and exercise judgement against yourself and others, it will set up like concrete. In other words, you will turn that negative energy into a physical reality in your body.

What's in Your Way?
As I was writing the teaching this month, I was reminded of the first time I read and understood 3 John 1:2.
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
I read it from the King James Version just as written above, and the reality that God Himself would desire for me to be healthy and prosper in my body was a revelation.

Removing the Roadblocks to Healing - Part 1
The Bible establishes the fact that Jesus Christ came to restore us to right relationship with God. Through His blood, we are free from sin. By His stripes, we are healed. This sacrifice was without limitation to every person, yet not all are free from sin and not all are healed and well. Why? Because it requires something of each individual person.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12

Bringing Anxiety Captive
Webster defines anxiety as “a state of being uneasy, apprehensive, or worried about what may happen; concerned about a possible future event.” Anxiety is a fact of life in our modern day society. Stress related illness is one of the most popular topics in today’s health magazines. Although some people are more prone to worry than others, I don’t think anyone is immune to anxiety and worry. That is the reason the apostle Paul wrote to the church at Philippi: “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts, and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

"The News" Versus "The Good News"
If you read the newspaper or listen to the “news,” you could easily get caught up in the negative energy that pervades this world with increasing darkness. It seems I am constantly reminded of the prophecy, “Triangle of the End.” The darkness is growing darker, not only in evil acts, but the darkness of the minds of those who are not following the Lord.

The Perfect Day
Can you imagine the plight of a meteorologist tracking a storm on radar as it approaches a densely populated city? He cannot stop the storm or divert its path. The only hope of saving lives is by quickly warning those in its path so they can escape before the storm’s devastation.
This scenario is a perfect parallel of ministry to this end-time generation. The growing darkness of those within the world’s system is obvious. Natural disasters are increasing in frequency and intensity. The prophecies of Scripture link endtime events to the things we are seeing in our generation.

Speaking the End Result
I spent many years watching my father use the spiritual principle of “Calling Things That Are Not.” He spoke to houses to sell and debts to disappear. I saw him pick up a handful of dirt and command the land to come to him. It took 12 years, but it is in our possession!

Calling Things That Are Not
As you study the Bible, you will notice God never does anything until He says it. That’s the way He works. God has done nothing in the earth without first speaking it. Even now, it seems that God will do nothing in the earth unless it is spoken, prophesied or called for by the prayer of faith.

Experience God's Promises
There is probably no other story that so greatly influenced my mind and thoughts, and
development of my faith than the possession of Canaan by the Israelites, God’s chosen people. This is a most complete picture of “how to” and “how not to,” presenting two different options, opinions or choices. Caleb and Joshua demonstrating their faith by their words, and the other ten whose unbelief and disobedience shut them out of the blessing God had provided for them.

Confession a Way to Possession
In Matthew 21:22 Jesus said, “…all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” In other words, we are only limited by what we can believe based on the authority of the Word of God. Then in John 15:7 Jesus said, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” Here are two important facts. First, we must abide in Christ, and second His Word must abide in us. In other words, don’t cast out the Word in favor of First Experience 4:7 or what somebody said they thought somebody said happened to somebody else.

The Power of Belief
There is tremendous power in belief; so much power that your own body responds to what you personally believe about your health.

Believing and Receiving Your Healing
There is tremendous power in believing. Jesus said, “...The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” (Mark 1:15) God doesn’t just tell us to believe, but His Word explains specifically what and how we are to believe.
