Letters from Annette

I am excited to share with you a chapter from my new book, The Spirit of Prophecy. When God spoke to me to write this book in 2019, I had no idea of what would be taking place in the 3 years it took to get it published and released to the public. A great deal of confusion came into the Body of Christ when suddenly prophecies began to come forth that seemed to contradict each other.

What are you saying about your health? I mean in every day conversation, when talking to someone on the phone, to your spouse, to your friends, to your children. What are you saying to yourself about your body? We may think we are just talking, but guess what? Your body is listening to you!

When you come before the Father in prayer, are you confident and bold with your request? Or, do you come as a victim of circumstances, begging for help?

The people of Samaria were in dire circumstances with no supplies of food and no hope of defeating the Syrians, who had cut off their city, when the prophet Elisha made a startling prediction, “...This time tomorrow shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria!”  (2 Kings 7:1)

As I edited this pamphlet, I was amazed at the accuracy of the Word of God and at the revelation and insight that comes from reading this teaching. When I came to the last page, I saw this statement: “Your words get to the future before you do.”

Are you aware that there are multitudes of angels surrounding us right now? Don’t be discouraged by what things “look like,” and don’t allow yourself to fall into the trap of fear by asking, “what if?” God has abundant resources and plenty of unseen troops that are here on earth now. There are more with us than there are with the enemy.

  In November of 2021, I was ministering at a meeting and the Holy Spirit gave me a word that I believe applies to the year 2022. I was studying the scripture:    “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31 NKJV)

No matter how many times I have heard teaching on Mark 11:23-24, I get something new and different energized to my spirit when I study these verses. I have to tell you, this month’s pamphlet is powerful, even if my Dad did write it. It doesn’t belong to Charles Capps or Kenneth Hagin; these scriptures belong to you and to me. Jesus spoke them to His disciples and to all who will ever follow Him. These principles are eternal, uttered by the lips of the One sent from God!

With the outbreaks of COVID, I have received news of sickness, deaths, and hospitalizations of friends and partners. I am sure you have experienced the same news in your circles. Thank God, I have also heard many messages on healing and when a few members of our staff became ill, they recovered fully.

The single most important Bible teaching that has impacted my life is the subject of the authority of the believer. Raised in church, born again at the age of 6, received the Holy Spirit at the age of 8, I heard many good sermons at my home church from our pastor, Brother Harold Walls. At youth camp, I heard exciting and inspirational messages that lingered throughout the summer. But what happened when I was 17 really set a course for my ministry.

I will never forget when the Lord spoke to me very directly many years ago about something that took place in my life. I was frustrated and felt like I had failed. I had failed the Lord and failed to attain the lofty goals I had set for myself.

When most people think of a Biblical “shield of faith,” they picture the shield from Roman times which is what the Apostle Paul would have been thinking of when he admonished the church at Ephesus to put on the whole armor of God. The shield, sword, and helmet of Ephesians 6:10-18 are indicating a march into battle.
