You are in Our Boat!

   We don’t hear it enough and perhaps don’t say it enough to those around us. Thank you! I appreciate you!

   So often you come to my mind and gratitude wells up within my heart for you, but in the busyness of everyday life, it seems time passes quickly, and I haven’t said it (or written it). So, I want to say it now – I am so grateful for you! I appreciate your prayers. I appreciate your stand for God and His Word. I appreciate your giving and financial support that is used to propel this ministry forward to the world.

   I feel like you are family – because you are family! We have a saying at the ministry based on a message I gave some time back on the Apostle Paul in Acts 27: You are in our boat! Paul was on a ship with a total of 276 people in a horrible storm without much hope of survival, but an angel appeared to him.

   “Since they had been without food for a long time, Paul stood up among them and said, Men, you should have listened to me and not have set sail from Crete and incurred this injury and loss. Yet now I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. For this very night there stood before me an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship, and he said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar. And behold, God has granted you all those who sail with you.’ So take heart, men, for I have faith in God that it will be exactly as I have been told.” Acts 27:21-25 (ESV) 

   Because of Paul’s faith in God’s Rhema word, the lives of everyone in the boat were spared (protected). The staff members of Capps Ministries are in my boat, and I declared it to be so in that Chapel service, but there is more! It’s not only our staff in the boat, but You, our Partner, are also in our boat!

   When we speak of you, we speak of you being in our boat and though the waves and wind beat against you, WE ARE STANDING SIDE BY SIDE WITH YOU and God has given all of us that promise of protection: Everything is going to be alright. (Just don’t jump out of the boat :) )
