Speak God's Way
God has invested in us the ability to use words to call His will into existence in the earth. What an honor! What a responsibility! Each of us has a part to play in bringing the will of God on earth as it is in heaven.
If that sounds overwhelming, it begins with you and your life. You are not responsible for saving the world; Jesus has done that. You are responsible for your own life, your own decisions, and calling the will of God to pass in every area of your life. That means speaking to all the physical, mental and spiritual pieces of your life to come into line with God’s perfect will. It includes your job, your family and where you live.
I spent many years watching my father use the spiritual principle of “Calling Things That Are Not.” He spoke to houses to sell and debts to disappear. He spoke to his body to be well and function well. I learned to do it and you can too!
Speaking the end result from the beginning is God’s way. He called for light when darkness existed, and Jesus spoke to the wind, waves, water and trees. He called peace in the midst of the storm. Do you want to be an “imitator of God” and a “follower of Christ”? I certainly do! Using the principle of calling for what does not exist and speaking the end result will enable you to not only change your every circumstance, but create an atmosphere of faith around you that will affect everyone you meet.
“(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” (Romans 4:17)
In this month’s pamphlet the story of Lazarus’ resurrection is a great example of Jesus using the principle of “calling things,” and answers many questions about this incident such as, “Why did Jesus wait when He knew Lazarus was sick?” I trust you are blessed by the lessons from this fascinating event.
We are praying for you and blessing you in the name of Jesus, and agreeing that the will of God is being done in your life as it is in heaven.
