Healing Belongs To Us
I have been so excited to see your letters and prayer requests coming in with the list of 2 or 3 scriptures you are standing on so that we can agree with you in prayer. It is truly a joy to take your letters and emails and pray in agreement with you in our Chapel services with our staff. For us to pray the prayer of agreement we need a basis for that agreement, and the basis of our faith is the Word! Please be sure to let us know praise reports as you see results!
When I wrote the booklet, Removing the Roadblocks to Health and Healing, I did so to answer questions many of you have about healing. Of course, the ultimate goal is to live in HEALTH, and to do so we must be reminded:
- Healing Belongs to US
- Our Bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit
- We Must Exercise Our Authority to Keep Sickness Out of the Temple
- Use Our Words to Speak Health to Our Bodies
Just as Abram stayed alert and drove the birds of prey away from the sacrifice on the altar (Genesis 15:11), we must stay AWAKE and ALERT to anything that would attempt to devour our bodies which are a “living sacrifice!”
“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God…” Romans 12:1 ESV
Sacrifices to God could be contaminated by impurity through sin, defect, or disease. We are to keep ourselves holy and whole, and Jesus made the way for us to be both holy (righteous through His blood) and whole (he took our infirmities and bore our sickness).
If you need healing today, I urge you to get your Bible and study the scriptures for yourself. It may be tempting to just call someone for prayer and hope their faith works for you, but the only way that you can enter into divine health and STAY WELL is to read and study the Word for yourself until faith comes.
Here are a few scriptures to start with: I Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:17, Joel 3:10, Jeremiah 30:17, Exodus 15:26, Psalm 103:3, Psalm 147:3, Acts 10:38.
Jesus never refused to heal anyone who came to Him. He wants you well and whole and He made the provision for healing and wholeness through His sacrifice. Read the scriptures and act upon them by speaking healing scriptures out loud to your body: “By His stripes, I am healed. He has restored health to me and healed me of my wounds. I am strong because He is strong. The Lord is the strength of my life.”
I want to thank you for your partnership and support of this ministry, which is experiencing great growth!
God Bless You,
