June 2019 - Letter from Annette
Whenever I prepare a teaching or pamphlet on healing, I am acutely aware of how many people will read it and are in need of physical healing. Some are very desperately seeking healing from critical illness. Thank God there is healing in His Word for our physical bodies!
Yes, there is healing in His Word and there is also health in His Word. Sometimes we become so fixed on an idea that we can’t see the truth. We are excited about believing in healing, but wouldn’t it be better to live in health and not need healing???
How can we live in health and not need healing?
Take care of your body.
Paul said, “.. do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?” (I Corinthians 6:19) Your physical body is the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. Would you treat the temple of God, His house, the same way you treat your body?
Your body is listening to you and it will obey you. What are you saying to it? Our bodies are a living temple, made up of living, breathing, moving combinations of cells that are alive and responsive to what we say. You have the choice to speak the life-giving health of the Word daily into your cells. You can bless the temple or curse the temple.
Immunize yourself with scriptures of health and healing. “For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.” (Proverbs 4:22) Take a vitalizing dose of God’s promises of health daily. Maintain your health by reading, confessing and meditating on the scriptures for health. Refuse to allow sickness or infirmity to attach itself to you. Resist it when it first appears.
How much better to live in health than be constantly in need of healing! Don’t wait until you are sick or in pain to reach out to the Word for healing…take a daily dose of God’s Medicine! Life-giving tonic! The Divine Solution!
A final word— If you want to live in health, be diligent to study and apply God’s Word and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Make a quality decision to apply yourself to God’s principles of health.
God Bless You,
