The Fruit of Faith

The Fruit of Faith

November 2026

I am so pleased to let you know that I have a new booklet available for you. It is entitled The Supernatural Gift of Faith, and I believe that it will clear up a lot of confusion concerning faith. You see, the supernatural gift of faith that Paul speaks of in First Corinthians chapter 12 is different from other kinds of faith.

“The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing” (1 Corinthians 12:9 NLT).

These gifts, or manifestations, that are listed are supernatural in origin. They come directly as the Spirit manifests Himself. The supernatural gift of faith is a powerful gift working wonders and the miraculous in the physical realm. Unfortunately, some have used this same scripture to say, “God didn’t give me the gift of faith,” or, “I just don’t have great faith.” You may not have a manifestation of supernatural faith, but every believer has the fruit of faith, which grows from hearing and speaking the Word.

So, have you ever been discouraged or disillusioned because you prayed or declared a miracle with your mouth, and it didn’t happen?

Perhaps you could consider these possibilities:

1.      The fruit of faith is for your daily needs. Did you spend time in the Word developing your faith for your healing, finances, peace of mind, or whatever you asked for? Was your faith fully developed, strong, and unmovable in the scriptures you were standing on when you prayed? Or did you just hope that you had faith? Were you uncertain (doubting)? Were you assured that what you asked was the will of God?

2.      Extreme situations demand the supernatural gift of faith. Divine protection in the face of certain death and provision to feed, clothe, or shelter you while you are in the plan and purpose of God. Raising a person from the dead requires the operation of the supernatural gift of faith. When someone calls the office and asks me to pray for someone to be raised from the dead, I cannot do that with the fruit of faith. It must be God-directed by the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

The fruit of faith is primary in accessing all that God has for you, including the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

I can remember in the early days of learning about faith and confession and attempting to “use my faith” to obtain things that I had yet to fully develop my faith for. I saw it in the Word. I was excited. I prayed. It didn’t happen. I was disappointed. What was wrong? My faith was not fully developed, and I mistook my emotional excitement for faith. True faith refuses to take one step unless the true revelation of the Word is underfoot. Solid and unmoving.

We can all desire the gifts of the Spirit, but they come as the Spirit wills. The fruit of faith is with us always and works 24/7 when we spend time feeding our faith and applying it.

In Christ,

Annette
