May Partner Letter

May 2020

Dear Partner,

I particularly enjoyed reading this month’s pamphlet because it brings such truth to understanding the scriptures. Over the years, I have received so many letters from people who are bound by fear and religious spirits. Their view of God is warped by what someone told them the Bible said and they did not have any understanding of how to interpret the scriptures. If they did, they would have discovered they had been told a lie about God.

Who is the author of lies? The devil, of course. Jesus said in John 8:44 AMPC that, “there is no truth in him, when he lies, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar and the father of lies and half-truths.”

It is sometimes easier to deceive people by giving them half-truths. That muddies the waters. To see the truths of the Father that Jesus taught, we must listen to what He said about His Father and look at how He acted while here on earth. After all, who knows the Father God better than Jesus?

So many take a scripture out of the book of Job or the Old Testament books and lay claim to suffering as coming from God to teach them something. But Jesus, in His life and ministry, NEVER taught that. Instead, He healed all who came to Him and brought deliverance from every oppression known to mankind.

Who are you going to believe? Jesus said He did the works He saw the Father do. Jesus tells you the truth in word and action.

You may not have the opportunity to go to Bible School and learn all the methods of Bible interpretation, but if you only remember two things, you will never swallow any more half-truths and lies of condemnation from the devil.

  • Number 1 – God is love.
  • Number 2 – God is good.

If it’s not good and it’s not love, then it’s not coming from God and it’s not truth!

I am praying for you that light will shine on your path and you will know the truth about every situation in your life. Be set free!

In Christ,
Annette Capps
