May 2021 Partner Letter
I am excited to share with you this month, both an old revelation and a new revelation about the name above every name. At least it is new to me and has impacted my life powerfully.
We know about Jesus and if we have accepted Him as Lord, He dwells in us, but do we really have faith in His Name? Have we even thought about it that way? I guess I may have, but recently I had a vivid dream about using the name of Jesus that caused me to examine some scriptures that I thought I knew what they said because I had read them so often.
I don’t know about you, but I sometimes read something so much that my mind says, “Oh yes, I know that.” But do we really KNOW it in our heart and not just our head?
Knowing it in our heart is revelation knowledge. Revelation knowledge can come suddenly without explanation from the reasoning faculties. Think of Peter when Jesus said, “Who do men say I am?” Then, “Who do YOU say I am?” Peter bursts out with, “You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.” Flesh and blood, and mind and reasoning didn’t give that answer. It was by the Spirit. That is how revelation knowledge works.
This is the scripture that I heard in my spirit: “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17-18 NKJV)
Remove the punctuation and hear what Jesus said, “These signs shall follow those who believe in My name...”
Do you believe in the power of His name? His Name is the authority in our lives and because we are under His authority, we have authority to use THAT NAME.
I am standing with you in faith, calling upon Jesus’ name to strengthen you in the Spirit and power of His might. I pray for you that the light of the Spirit will shine in your heart, and that revelation will break forth for you of the power of THAT NAME, the name of Jesus!
