Dear Partner,
We have all had plenty of opportunities in the past 12 months to enter into thoughts of anxiety and fear. I trust you have had the boldness and courage to REFUSE those opportunities and turn to the promises of God instead!
Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.”
Listen to what God says here; His thoughts and plans for us are for our well-being and for us to have peace. His PLAN is for us to have hope for the future, knowing that He will perfect that which concerns us.
Refuse the thoughts that are contrary to God’s thoughts and refuse the fear and anxiety that comes with those thoughts. That’s what I do. I turn to the Word of God that lives and abides forever and fill myself with what God says. I do not give place to the devil or his suggestions because I know the truth…WE WIN! The Greater One dwells in us and He has given us the name above every name! Like my Dad used to say, “Read the back of the Book. The end result is written and we are victorious!”
Jesus told us, “Let not your heart be troubled.” I am tempted just as you are to allow the circumstances of life to discourage or dishearten me. When it looks like things are going downhill, I look to the same Spirit that RAISED Christ from the dead to remind me of the truths of the Word and lift me above the circumstances. I may be in this world, but I am not part of the world system. I operate in the principles of the kingdom of God!
Say this with me, “I will not let my heart be troubled. I am strong in the Lord and His thoughts are higher than my thoughts. His plan for my life is peace, health and well-being. I have hope for the future because He reigns!”
I am praying for you today that the Holy Spirit will quicken you and encourage you and open your eyes to the truth that because He dwells in you, NO ONE can successfully be against you!
Jesus completed His mission. He defeated satan; the end has been determined and WE WIN!
