What do you do when circumstances contradict the Word of the Lord? Paul said in Ephesians 6:13, “...and having done all, to stand.” When you have done everything you know to do, take your stand...and just stand there.
Jairus had just reached Jesus and heard the good news that the Master would come and heal his daughter; when a woman interrupted the urgent trip by getting healed and delaying them! Then a messenger told Jairus the girl was dead. Talk about your hopes being dashed! But Jesus said, “Fear not. Only believe.” (Mark 5:36)
My Dad often said that sometimes the highest response of faith is silence. In other words, when things look bad, keep your mouth shut!
